Links to some writing
I've been writing professionally for 15 years, both as a journalist and within the design and technology industry. My work has appeared in everything from academic journals to airline magazines. Here are some highlights, but I'm happy to show you more (honestly, writers love when you want to see our stuff).

Making stories happen is what makes me tick. Each of the experiences below made me a better writer, designer, and person, and I love when people ask me about them.

Chaos ThaoghaireChaos Thaoghaire was hard to explain. A monthly event with live, true stories (like the Moth) but with interactive team games, an atmosphere of petty tyranny, a theme tune, and (somehow) its own currency. I don't know any more than you do, and I was there.

Community archaeologyFrom 2003-2007, I ran workshops with kids, using archaeology and archaeological thinking to help them feel the world belonged to them, too. We published some of our work in an edited volume and we were shortlisted for a BA Festival of Science award.

What the experts say
I asked some friends to give me testimonials. Here's what they had to say.
